Mini Review: Slay it with Flowers

Today's mini review, Slay it with Flowers by Kate Collins, also marks the final of three books I carried over from previous challenges. Cool, isn't it?

This is the second Flowershop mystery and picks up exactly where the last one ended. Or maybe a day or two later.

This time around, Abby Knight is involved in her cousin Jillian's wedding. Not only is she a bridesmaid, but she is providing the flowers. It represents some nice income for her florist shop, so she wants the wedding to happen.

Naturally, that means she is going to get involved when one of the groomsmen goes missing. Where is he? And what does his disappearance mean?

These books are mostly enjoyable. The plot moves along well and the ending was a surprise. There are several funny scenes along the way that made me laugh out loud.

However, the characters seem flat. I like what I know about them, but there isn't that much to get to know.

But I've already bought the next and hope to get to it sooner rather than later.
