So, what's new with Mark?
Tonight we get two of the best ever episodes of Babylon 5. I can't wait!
Really, the last couple of days have been fairly quiet. The biggest news (the review being posted on the publisher's website) I reported yesterday.
I did pick up Brother Bear and Glorious Appearing at lunch yesterday. I finished High Rhymes and got about 50 pages into Glorious Appearing. So far, I'm fairly happy with it. Especially since they've explained one of my biggest problems with the last book. Still not sure how they're going to keep us entertained for the next 350 pages, but I guess I'll find out soon enough.
You, know, last week, I gave Mary a hard time for not doing a Tuesday Two for a while, then when she did one, I forgot to do it. Silly me.
1. In honor of the above “Off like a dirty shirt”, which expression do you use a lot, and where did it come from?
As I said in Donald and Heather's toast, I have a tendency to drive cliches into the ground. A personally favorite is still "With friends like these, who needs enemies." Seems like it get to use it quite often, too. I also like to give an innocent "Yo?" Then there's "I'm innocent!" "Wasn't me, I didn't do it!" "Just how stupid do you think I am don't answer that." As you can tell most of these I can't tell you were they originated from.
2. What nicknames do you, or have you, had?
About the only nickname I can ever come up with is "The Biz" that one of my supervisors gave me the summer I worked at Windsor Water Works. Other then that, can't think of a one.
And finally, I need to do El's quiz:
You are Blue Bell Knoll. Brilliant, bright,
blissful, and richly textured.
Which Cocteau Twins album are you?
brought to you by Quizilla
Sounds good to me. :)
